Tell us! What artists you know whose song from an album release in 2019, can become platinum and number-one three years later?... Anyone?! Well aside from R&B singer Chris Brown that list is probably thin. This comes along as people begin to believe real R&B is dying.

The singer is now some place receiving his flowers and definitely enjoying all the fruits of his labor.

Brown's song "Under the Influence," from prior album "Indigo" extended version is the gem the world stumbled across. While on the #OneofThemOnes tour and promoting his most recent album "Breezy" people came across the song in disbelief at its' greatness.

The single began to go viral and use on various platforms such as TikTok reels. The songs popularity surface to franchise stores such as Torrid, using the song as sound on their social media promotional videos.

After the single made it to the top of Apple Music charts, Brown wrote a post September 15 on Instagram stating his appreciation.

“I REALLY REALLY APPRECIATE and LOVE YALL..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽. #1 This is crazy to me… imagine the songs that were overlooked.. thank you team breezy. GEMS 🙏🏽❤️. Hope you guys are going back and re-listening to see what y’all may have missed. 🥰 R&B AINT DEAD..just allow it to blossom”
